Miguel, Elle Varner, Luke James, Stacy Barthe Form "Nouveau Noir"
7:38AM Monday
March 4, 2013

Well before they amassed fans around the world, Miguel, Elle Varner, Luke James and Stacy Barthe were fans of each other, collaborating on various projects through the years.  Now the crew is combining forces in a loose collective they're calling Nouveau Noir or the "new black."

Stacy, who released her P.S. I Love You EP on Valentine's Day, tells the Singersroom, "These are the people who are into art, into fashion, into music, you know anything having to do with art, we're the artsy kids."

Nouveau Noir is all about inclusion, opening its circle to anyone who wants to be involved.  The collective promotes uninhibited self-expression through music -- a philosophy that Stacy has built her career on.  "I created my own little corner in the world and that's just me," says Stacy, who's written for everyone from Britney Spears to Diddy and Rihanna.

Most recently, Stacy released her P.S. I Love You single "Hell Yeah!" featuring Rick Ross.
